Grace be unto you all and peace from God our Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ. This letter is the concluding part of the epistle we recently wrote to you all concerning the prophecy of Joel, which thing is appointed and shall be done in due season. Now let him that hath an ear hear these words and keep them.
it is written in Joel 2:28-32: And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. 30 And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. 31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come. 32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call. Again, as we have repeatedly written to you, even so we do again declaring that there shall be three major outpourings of the Holy Spirit upon the earth, the first and the latter of which shall be first upon Israel and then the Gentiles. Please visit the link: http://www.seasonsofnoah.com/prophetic_update.php?id=43&type=3. This word is true. All these outpourings are connected to the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. The first outpouring which occurred at Pentecost after His first coming is already passed and behold, the second outpouring is now at hand and shall begin at the catching away of the church when the Lord shall appear the second time. The grapes of the earth are fast ripening that the clusters of her vine may be gathered and cast into the great winepress of the wrath of God. Judgment is coming to the earth for the cup of her iniquity is almost full; even so, the second outpouring shall be in the time of the judgment to come.
Some people continually speak of a great revival that will come before the rapture of the church at the time of the end. Contrarily, the Bible speaks more specifically of a falling away i.e. apostasy instead of a harvest in the time of the end. This means there will be more that fall away in those days than many that will be saved. This is because iniquity shall abound so much that many shall be overcome by the pleasures and cares of this world and be drawn into sin. We already are seeing this today. This is written in 1 Tim 4:1-3 and 2 Thess 2:3 and it is for this reason that the millennial reign of Christ has been appointed in the end to subdue all rebellion on the earth. Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself spoke of a great falling away in the time of the end and the rise of many false prophets that will deceive many. He repeatedly warned of these times that many may take heed. This is clearly written for our edification in Matt 24:11-12, 23-26. Therefore, if the Lord Himself spoke of a falling away, why then do some men speak of a revival that will not come, for the time appointed is not yet? For as it is written: the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no shepherd. Therefore, all ye shepherds: hearken to the voice of the Lord lest His flocks go astray and His anger be kindled against thee.
Now it is written in Mal 4:5-6: Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: 6And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. This is part of the last prophecy in the Old Testament. It concerns the return of Elijah the prophet (not John the Baptist or some other man) to the earth, from heaven, shortly before the great and dreadful day of the Lord. At that time, there will be one of the greatest spiritual awakenings in the history of mankind though great persecutions shall also arise with it. Many families will be united in Christ and the Holy Spirit will be outpoured upon many in those days. Even all of Israel will be saved as a result of the seed planted by the ministry of Elijah and the other prophet as written in Rev 11:3-10, Acts 2:16-21, Rom 11:25-29, and Isa 66:7-8. All these will surely come to pass instead of a curse upon the earth! Praise the Lord! This is the consummation of the second outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the earth. The third outpouring and the latter end of Joel's prophecy is the reason we have written this epistle to you all, that the Lord may give to you all skill and understanding. Therefore consider the matter and understand these sayings.
The millennial reign of Christ and His saints on the earth shall be the beginning of the third and final outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the earth. This is the final coming of the Lord to the earth to reign and quash all rebellion in the hearts of men. Joel 2:28 declares plainly that this final outpouring shall come to pass afterward. After what? After the events of Joel 2:18-19, 21-27 which speaks of the restoration of Israel at the second coming of the Lord immediately after the war of Armageddon during the beginning of the day of the LORD (Isa 2:12, 13:6, 9, 34:8, 61:2, 63:1-6, Jer 46:10, Ezek 30:3, Dan 2:44-45, 7:13-14, Amos 5:18, Joel 2, Oba 15, Zeph 1:8, 18, 2:2-3). This is the time of which Joel spoke, not the currently ongoing regathering of the Jewish people back to Israel which will be completed by the Messiah at His final coming (Isa 11:10-12, Matt 24:31). That the latter end of Joel's prophecy concerning the Spirit's outpouring will be fulfilled from the end of the tribulation into the millennium is also made very clear from Joel 2:30-32 which speaks of wonders in the heavens and in the earth before the great and terrible day of the Lord which occurs at the end of the great tribulation. Joel 2:29 declares plainly that God will pour out His Spirit in those days i.e. the days when the wonders spoken in Joel 2:30-31 shall appear in the heavens and earth. Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself prophesied in Matt 24:21, 29-31 that these wonders and signs shall be immediately after the great tribulation. So then, if these wonders shall be after the tribulation to come and the outpouring is to occur during the days of these wonders, then it is absolutely true that the latter end of the outpouring shall be after the tribulation also.
To seal this truth, Joel 3:1 which is a continuation of the prophecy of Joel 2:32 speaks again of those days and at that time. This scripture describes the time period at the final coming of the Lord to the earth at Armageddon when He shall gather all the nations into the valley of Jehoshaphat for judgment. This is written in Joel 3:12-15, Rev.14:18, and Rev.19:15. This finally proves that those days first mentioned in Joel 2:29 during which the latter outpouring of the Spirit will occur will be at the final coming of the Lord to the earth at the beginning of the millennium. It is in those days and the days that shall follow that Joel's prophecy shall be completed. Some gentile sinners that survive the tribulation and great tribulation shall be saved in the millennium through the ministration of Jews and divine service of heavenly saints. Shall they not then receive the baptism of the Spirit if the Lord Himself has redeemed them? Assuredly they shall receive and even many shall be saved in this manner, for it is in those days that Joel's prophecy shall be finished. Now, concerning life during the millennium, we shall write to you shortly by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ who has sent us by His Spirit.
We put you in remembrance as we have written to you before that the rapture of the church will be a major awakening to many that claim to know the Lord Jesus Christ but yet have defiled their garments by living in sin. If there be any of you that belong to this category, we beseech you in the name of the Lord to repent today. The Lord is merciful and is seeking you at this time of grace. Forsake your sinful ways and return to the Lord, for time is short and the devil is walking about seeking whom he may devour. Let it not be you. But if you are not in the Lord, living and abiding in Him, then the devil has power over you. Yet still, those that will not repent shall be tried in the days to come and in those days many shall cry unto the Lord in their great affliction. Strive not to be among them for it is not the will of God that any should perish but all should come to repentance. Therefore repent today and be converted. And to the many saints among you, remain holy and pure in all things and keep looking for that blessed hope, the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ. Do justice, love righteousness, and hate sin. Peace be to you all. Maranatha.
