Grace be unto you all and peace from God our Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ. In continuation of last week's epistle which we have written to you all that you may not be shaken in faith by certain doctrines concerning the prophecy of Joel, we now write to you in this letter according to the holy word of God when the fulfillment of Joel's prophecy shall be. This letter is a revelation we have received from the Lord very recently. We beseech you all to receive these words with readiness of mind and believe them for they are true. We have written as we have received from the Lord. There is so much truth that the Lord wants to reveal to His church in these last days but men's ears has become dull of hearing. They have been so entangled with the things of the world that some are no longer in unity with Him. How then shall they understand? And if they do not understand, how then shall they do the truth, that truth which they do not understand? But you as saints have understanding if so be that the Holy Spirit, the earnest of our inheritance continually abides in you that you may always be in unity with the Father and the Son. Therefore grieve not the Spirit of truth who is in you with any sinful desire or pleasure. Abstain from all appearances of evil. Avoid sin always, for it is the chief weapon by which the enemy has taken many captive, gradually seducing them with the ways and vain things of the world which many seek after, and thereby making them unfruitful; he himself knowing that every unfruitful branch will be cut off from the vine in the end by the husbandman. Therefore, let not that old serpent lure you unto sin. Resist him in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ but you also must continually die to your own desires that the will of your master, whose name is Jehovah may be done through you.
Now, it is written in Joel 2:28-32: And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. 30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. 31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come. 32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call. As we have written to you in our last epistle, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit mentioned in the scriptures above is mainly upon Israel. This word is true. In Joel 2:28, God promised to pour out His Spirit upon all flesh. If all refers to all men on the earth, then this translates that all the earth will be saved for the Spirit shall be on everyone i.e. all flesh. But we understand and know that all does not mean everyone on earth. It could not mean this because we know there will always be evil in the earth until the last end of the millennium when Christ shall have put down all rebellion (1 Corinth 15:24-26), for this is the reason for the millennial reign of Christ on the earth i.e. to quash all rebellion. We also know that as many are being born into God's kingdom in these last days, even so the evil in the earth is increasing. The earth is becoming more restless and peace is gradually eroding off the earth. Evil has increased greatly in the hearts of men and many have now become lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God as foretold in the Holy Scriptures. By all these things, we clearly understand that all do not mean all men on the earth. But still, the word of God says all flesh. And the Spirit explained in the next verses what this all flesh mean. It means your sons, your daughters, your old men, your young men. In these scriptures, God was speaking directly to Israel. Joel was prophesying to Judah and Jerusalem (Joel 2:27, 3:1). Not the church or any other group. The book of Joel is uniquely linked to the national salvation of the Jews at the second coming of Christ. Most of the book refers to Israel during the future tribulation period and the coming millennium. Most of the promises in the book are for the Jews. Apostle Peter in his sermon on the day of Pentecost also declared that Pentecost is part of the fulfillment of Joel's prophecy (Acts 2:16) concerning the salvation of the Jews in the end. Though the church was birthed on the day of Pentecost, God was doing much more. He was also planting the seed of salvation among the Jews, who He has promised and sworn to save in the end. This is why all men that were baptized in the Holy Ghost on Pentecost were Jews. No gentiles were among them. It is because it was the beginning of the fulfillment of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the Jews, which Joel prophesied.
The Word of God is so sharp that it is compared to a two-edged sword. It is always very precise, for God knows the end from the beginning and declares it before time so that men can believe that He is the only one and true God when those things which He has declared do come to pass. When God says all, He means all. Not a part but all. This is why God declared that He will pour out His Spirit upon all flesh, which refers to all flesh in Israel. God is saying that He will save the whole nation! The whole nation of Israel will be saved in the end. All of them! This word was also confirmed by the Holy Ghost again by the mouth of Apostle Paul when he declared in Rom 11:26 that all Israel shall be saved. This word is then true that there is a coming outpouring of the Spirit upon all Israel when the whole nation shall be saved. Imagine a whole nation without sin! What glory! But when shall these things be?
It is written in Rom 11:25-27: For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in. 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. According to the scriptures above (Rom 11:25), we understand that the whole nation of Israel will be saved after the fullness of the Gentiles have come in i.e. after all the times of the Gentiles prophesied upon Jerusalem is complete (Luke 21:24). These times will be fully complete after the reign of the antichrist in Jerusalem in the days to come, for he must reign over the city and trod it down under foot until the judgment shall sit and his dominion taken away. This we have written to you all in times past http://www.seasonsofnoah.com/times_of_gentiles.htm The next verses of Rom 11:26 explained more clearly how all Israel will be saved. It shall be by the hand of a deliverer who shall come out of Sion. This deliverer is the Lord, our master, Jesus Christ. He is the LORD OF HOSTS. He shall come out of His place in the third heaven. This place is Sion, the heavenly mount Sion (Rev 14:1, Heb 12:22, Rom 11:26), not mount Zion in Jerusalem. This is the same place all saints who partake of the rapture will go. For at the time of the coming of the Lord out of this place called Sion, all saints who have been taken at the rapture shall come with Him (Zech 14:5, Rev 19:14). The angels of heaven will also come to the earth with Him at that time (2 Thess 1:7-10, Matt 16:27, 24:29-31, 25:31). This is at the second coming of the LORD to set up His millennial kingdom on the earth. This thing was also clearly prophesied by Enoch (Jude 14), who was found worthy by the God of heaven that He was taken alive into heaven even unto this day. The next verses in Rom 11:27 explained that it is at this time that all the sins of Israel shall be taken away. This was also confirmed by the Holy Ghost in Joel 3:21 where the Lord promised that He will cleanse the blood of Israel at His second coming which He has not cleansed, for then He the LORD shall dwell among them in Zion, in Jerusalem.
So then, when shall the Spirit outpouring be upon Israel? When shall the whole nation be saved? And how shall these things reconcile the Gentiles unto God? Hear us: There will be three major outpourings of the Holy Spirit upon the earth. This the Spirit speaks expressly. The first and the last of them shall be first towards Israel, and then the Gentiles. The first outpouring which is Pentecost (Acts 2:1-28:31) is already passed and behold, two more remain. These outpourings shall be as Pentecost and shall have the power thereof. For at Pentecost, the noise of the mighty clap of thunder and of the sound of the rushing wind alarmed those in the city that they came running to the temple where they found the disciples full of the Spirit and speaking in foreign languages otherwise called tongues. Even the outpourings to come shall be as this in power. The second outpouring shall be during the future tribulation which is to come upon the earth. In those days shall many be purified and made white and tried (Dan 12:10) that their robes may be washed and made white in the blood of the Lamb (Rev 7:9-17). This word is true and it shall come to pass. As Pentecost was the beginning of the fulfillment of the prophecy of Joel, even so in the same manner, the catching away of the church otherwise known as the rapture will be the beginning of this second outpouring. Unlike the second coming of the Lord to establish His millennial kingdom on the earth, there shall be no major sign to the world for the rapture, for it itself is one of the greatest signs of the second coming of the Lord to the earth. There are no prophecies to be fulfilled before the rapture, for it could have taken place anytime in the past, even during the days of the early church, and it can happen any time without any sign or prophecy coming to pass (Tit 2:13, Phil 3:30). Most signs written in the holy scriptures of the coming of Christ refer to the second coming and not the rapture. There will be at least 7 years between the two events. The rapture is not the second coming, nor one phase or stage of it, for Christ does not come to the earth at that time. He meets the saints in the air and takes them back to heaven (1 Thess 2:19, 3:13, 4:16-17, Rev 19:1-11). The saints stay in heaven with Him for all the years judgment is being poured upon the earth during the tribulation, and then return with Him to the earth at the end of these judgments at His second advent (Zech 14:5, Jude 14, Rev 19:11-21). The rapture shall be a very sudden event to the world and no Pentecost-order revival shall precede it. It shall happen suddenly, during the sleeping hours of one day, yet those that shall be accounted worthy to partake of it shall be awakened and be taken. This revelation, we also received from the Lord. Now we have already told you these things before they happen so that when they do come to pass, many may believe that the Lord sent us and we have not come by ourselves. Concerning the third and last outpouring of the Spirit upon the earth, we shall write to you shortly.
We must also mention that though many orthodox Jews are now turning to the Lord Jesus Christ in these last days as their Messiah, majority of the nation will remain in unbelief until the future time of tribulation which is purposed to come upon the earth and Israel because of their sins. The Lord in His foreknowledge has already known that this is what it will require for the whole nation of Israel to come to repentance. For this reason, that which is purposed shall be done. But those that have ears among them must now hear this message of hope and love and take heed that they may not partake of the evil to come. Behold the days draws near when in all the land, says the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them. I will say it is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God. But as for the gentiles among you, continue steadfastly in the faith, keeping the watch for the Lord's coming, not being weary of well doing. Abide in Him always and be in the unity of the faith with all brethren, who are those that keep the commandments of God and faith in Jesus Christ. These are His true saints. These are the ones that have been washed and cleansed by His blood, and sanctified by His truth unto holiness, who now serve Him whole-heatedly being no longer their own selves but His. They shall serve Him in His holy hill, in the New Jerusalem in heaven and sing of His goodness and mercy forever. O give thanks to the LORD for He is good, for His mercy endures forever. And let the redeemed of the Lord say so. Peace be to you all. Maranatha.
