It is written in Rev 13:11-17:And I beheld anotherbeast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. 16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.?
By the Scriptures above and other epistles which we have written to you all from the very beginning according to the written Word of God, we understand that a man shall rise up in the time of the end. This man shall deceive the whole world and lead them into great apostasy. This man shall reign with the Antichrist in the days of the Great Tribulation which is to come and shall have powers to work great miracles by which he shall deceive the whole world. According to the word of the Lord, this man is referred to as a beast coming out of the earth having two horns like a lamb but speaks as a dragon. He is referred to as another beast because the Antichrist is the first beast. This is written in Rev 13:1-10. This second or another beast is a mortal man. Not a literal beast or a spirit as some teaches. The word another as used in Rev 13:11 is the Greek word allos, which means another of the same kind. As the Word of God shows very clearly that the first beast (Antichrist) is a man (Rev 13:18, 17:8-17, Dan 7:11, 23-27, 8:9-14, 23-25, 9:26-27, 11:35-45, 2 Thess 2:1-12), and the second beast is called another beastof the same kind, then it is very clear that this second beast is also a man. The Bible repeatedly uses personal pronouns for both beasts (Rev 13:11, 16:13, 19:20, 20:10) indicating that they are persons. They will both come out of men, not from the underworld of departed spirits. They both symbolize two natural men that will exist in the last days just before the second coming of the LORD. This will be after the RAPTURE. They will both fulfill all the prophecies concerning them and will die at Armageddon (Rev 19:20, Dan 7:11, Isa 11:4, 2 Thess 2:8). This is the counsel according to the word of the Lord.
This second beast will come after the first beast and will be in alignment with him (Rev 13:12, 16:13, 19:20, 20:10). This second beast is revealed as having two horns like a lamb but speaking as a dragon. This is a true picture of a False Prophet. The lamb is a picture of our Lord Jesus Christ. He has always been typified as a Lamb from the very beginning, for it is also written that He has been the Lamb of God from the foundation of the world (Rev 13:8). He is called the Lamb in Rev 17:14, 5:6, 7:10, 17, 14:4, 10, 15:3, 19:9, 21:22-23, 22:1, & John 1:29. According to the word of the Lord, this false prophet will appear as a lamb. This shows clearly that he will be a religious man. He will speak as the Lord and imitate Him even claiming to be Him (Matt 24:23-26). He will profess to be the Lord of the Christians and a prophet, for only Christianity can be linked with the Lamb. This man will rise from within the church. This is the false church. Only the Lord knows those that are truly members of His body. No man knows this. Only the Lord does. This shall be revealed to the whole world at the RAPTURE when some shall be caught up and many shall remain. This man shall speak as a dragon though he appears as a lamb. This proves that he will speak the words of Satan and not the words of God for the dragon is the picture of Satan (Rev 12:9, 20:2). By this we know that this man will be an agent of Satan and will be completely given to him.
He will exercise all the powers of the Antichrist. This is written in Rev 13:12 & 2 Thess 2:8-12.
This is the power of Satan which he shall give to the beast and the false prophet. This false prophet will cause men on the earth to worship the image of the Antichrist (Rev 13:12). The Scriptures reveal that he will do great miracles, even to calling fire from heaven before men, counterfeiting God and His works (Rev 13:13, 19:20, Num 11:1-3, 26:10). This is the chief means by which he shall deceive the whole world in those days. This is written in Rev 13:14 & 19:20. It is by these miracles and lying wonders that he shall cause the world to wonder after the Antichrist. This great deception has not yet been known to man in our days. We have heard of no one in our days that has literally seen fire fall from heaven. This is why all these signs will deceive many people in those days and lead them to perdition. Is it not written that an adulterous and sinful generation seeketh after a sign? As children of light, we are not to be moved by signs and wonders. Did the wise men of Pharaoh not do the same deed that Moses did in those days by turning his rod to a snake? Signs and wonders do not necessarily portray God?s approval of men. Though it is written that signs and wonders shall follow them that believe (Mark 16:17), yet still signs and wonders are to be ONLY a confirmation of the WORD OF GOD. If any man teaches not according to the doctrines of Christ and walk not as He walked, and do not obey His commandments and keep His statutes, he does not belong to the Lord. If he works miracles and wonders and even prophesies, he does this unto himself. Not unto God. And he does not do this by the power of Christ for it is impossible for a man not to please God and yet have the powers of God working through Him. Impossible! The LORD is the one that does miracles in men. No man can work a miracle by the power of Christ except Christ be with Him. This is clearly written in Mark 16:20. If He does not abide in them, then the miracles could not be done by Him who is not in them. Men of this manner will be cut off in the end. They will be like the branches in the vine that does not bring forth fruit because they do not abide in Him. They will wither, and be gathered, and cast into the fire and will be burnt. This is written in John 15:6. It does not matter what any man thinks for we know that there shall be a performance of all the things that the Lord hath said in His Word. We beseech you all not to seek after signs and wonders. The LORD Himself warned us all that we should not. He said in those days many will be deceived and that if those days were not shortened the very elect will also be deceived by these signs. Test all things with the written WORD OF GOD and hold fast to the truth that you have been taught as written in the Scriptures. God is the one that works miracles in us. Not us. As long as He lives in us, He does His own work. We are to set our focus on Him and not be desirous of vain glory in ourselves. We are to desire His Word as DAILY BREAD and live by it. This is the meaning of Manna which God fed Israel in the wilderness. By this He taught them that man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceed from the mouth of God. This is why they ate Manna all their 40 years in the wilderness. It was a picture of the living bread from heaven, the WORD OF GOD which man must desire and eat ALL HIS DAYS to be wise.
The false prophet will also cause men to make an image of the beast to be worshipped (Rev 13:14, 14:9-11, 15:2, 16:2, 20:4-6). He will be the one that deceives the whole world into accepting the Antichrist. He will have power to give life to the image of the beast causing it to speak and do personal acts (Rev 13:15). He will also cause the image of the beast to demand the death penalty by beheading for all who will not worship the Antichrist (Rev 13:15, 7:9-17, 15:2, 20:4-6). He will cause all men under his dominion to take a mark, or the name of the Antichrist, or the number of his name in their right hand or in their forehead (Rev 13:16, 14:9-11, 15:2, 16:2, 20:4-6). He will also make a law that no man might buy or sell if he does not take one of the three brands mentioned above. Here lies the patience of the saints in those days. Many of them will be beheaded because of these laws which they shall refuse to obey. Yet still many also shall compromise and fall away because of the great persecution and hardship in those days. He will also deceive many nations of the earth in the time of the end to gather them for the great day of the Lord almighty. This will be at Armageddon. At that time, our LORD Jesus Christ shall return with His saints amongst whom we are to set up His millennial kingdom on the earth. Then shall the Antichrist and the false prophet be taken and cast into the Lake of fire burning with brimstone. This is their end. And they shall remain in this place under conscious torments forever and ever for it is revealed that they will still be there after the 1000 year millennial reign of Christ on the earth (Rev 20:10). Therefore, if one cannot burn up after 1000 years though he be in a Lake of fire, then we know he will never burn up. This is fire that does not consume but torments. This is their reward for all the great evil they have done in the sight of the Lord of the whole earth.
Who exactly this false prophet will be is not known to us but to the LORD. He will work through many pastors and deceive many who run after signs and wonders and do unrighteousness in those days. We must forewarn you to bind the Word of God to your heart and strive to do as it is written always. God has repeatedly warned us in His Word that many once saved will perish in the end because they have refused to do His will as written in His Word. They profess their love for Him with their mouths but yet their hearts are far from Him for they do not live according to His Word. They do unrighteousness and condone all manner of sin. They love the world and seek after worldly things like the ungodly. Yet still we see many professed teachers of the gospel today speaking contrary to God's written word saying salvation cannot be lost. In this manner they speak against God and accuse God of using vain words on His people. They declare their own counsel speaking from their hearts under the influence of seducing spirits teaching doctrines of devils. By this teaching, many remain in their sins and die in them. After they die and they see themselves in another place but heaven, they will realize that they have been deceived. But then, it will be too late for many and they will not be able to come back to the earth to warn others like them. If many refuse to hearken to the Word of God as written and eventually perish in this manner, what then shall be the end of the teachers that have taught them wrong doctrines in this manner to lead them to perdition? Behold, we tell you the truth, it will be more tolerable for the men of Sodom and Gomorrah in the Day of Judgment than for all these teachers if they do not repent. We speak of what we know and we testify of we have seen for we have been sent by Him who has the sharp sword with two edges. Those who speak from their heart want glory for themselves but he who wants glory for Him that sent him is honest and there is nothing false in him. He who comes from God and belongs to God listens to God's words. If any man disputes this teaching and cast it down in his own pride, it is because he does not belong to the Lord. We beseech you all to repent of all your sins and walk in the light of the written word of God which we have preached unto you from the very beginning. The Lord will soon come for His people and He has sent us to profess this to all men. He has sent us to teach His people the way of repentance and show them how to please Him always. In all these things is the Father glorified when we all bear fruit unto Him in holiness that in the end He may give unto us eternal life in Him in the New Jerusalem in Heaven. This is where we belong. Therefore we command you all as He also has commanded us: set your affections on the things that are above and not on things that are on the earth. For if we continually do this, then we are very confident of this very thing that He who has began a good work in us will also perform it until the day of Christ. For when Christ who is our life shall appear at the catching away, then we also shall appear with Him in glory. Grace be to you all. Amen.
