Altering the Word of God |
Unto the church of God which is spread across the whole earth, even to all the shepherds whom the Lord Jesus Christ in His awesome power has set over His own sheep to feed them according as they have received from Him, and to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus called to be saints of God, we have written this epistle to you all. Grace be unto you and peace from God our Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ. This epistle is a quickened word from the Holy Ghost. We beseech you all to take heed to the things which are written in this letter and do them, for the Lord will always send His mercy and truth to His people that they may abide in His Word and keep His testimonies. This writing is a solemn warning from the Lord to all that teach His Word. In these last days, many professed teachers of the gospel of Christ and even many professed Christians have perverted the Word of God in order to suit their own understanding and vision. They teach many wrong doctrines and speak of visions and dreams that have not come from the Lord but from their own heart. Many of them have corrupted the truth in them by what they have heard from men, things which are contrary to the Word of God. Many even seek after dreams and visions rather than seeking the Lord. They hunt around day by day with itching ears seeking to hear things that suit their own desires, things that would justify their deeds in their own eyes. Yet, many of these people do these things with a seemingly good heart towards God that they may also encourage the faith of others. For this reason, some are willing to do anything to show forth their good works, even if it means adding or taking away from the Word of God. This latter act is what the Lord does not approve for the consequences are very grave in His sight. For the sake of all that do these things in His name whether in ignorance or in understanding we have written this epistle that you may repent of these deeds today. The judgment of God is coming to the earth and you must not let pride cause you to partake of it. Therefore as you hear these words today, repent! The judge is at the door. According to the Word of God under the dispensation of the Law, God commanded Israel that they should not add to the Word which He has given to them nor should they take away from it. This is written in Deut 4:2 wherein the Lord commanded through Moses: Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you . It is also written in Deut 12:32 that: What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it . God gave this command to Moses and He did this so that the truth of His Word may be preserved in the mouth of all people. He did not want any man to add to or take away from His Word in any form lest His Word become corrupt by the wisdom of men which is foolishness unto God (1 Corinth 3:19), and thereby cause many to err from the truth. It is also written in Prov 30:6 that : Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar . By this Scripture we now plainly understand why God is displeased when men add to His Word and why He has commanded Moses to warn the people concerning this. It is because God hate liars (Prov 12:22) and regard men that add to His Word as liars (Prov 30:6). He is displeased at anything that makes a lie, which the Scriptures also declare plainly as the nature of the devil who is a liar and the father of it (John 8:44). When men add to God’s Word or cultivates a habit to do so in any form, they soon offend in some other ways and doctrines that in no time the evil one gets his seed planted in them and by this they become captive to the evil one in ignorance. This is the chief reason why God has commanded very clearly in the Scriptures that His Word should not be added to. In order to reiterate this profound truth and show forth the grave consequences to all that will attempt to contend and disobey, our Lord Jesus Christ who redeemed us with His own precious blood declared these words plainly in the fullness of His glory and power in the Book of Revelation. We have quoted His words as written in Rev 22:18-20 that all that read may clearly understand: For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book. And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. He which testifieth these things saith, surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus . This is a very grave warning from the Lord to a ll men that will teach and hear the Book of Revelation. This proves beyond any shadow of doubt that the truths in the Book of Revelation are very important to the Lord. For this reason, He has sealed it with this curse. According to these Scriptures, any man that adds to the Book of Revelation in any form will have the plagues written in the Book of Revelation added unto him. This is the word of the Lord therefore it shall be done. What exactly are these plagues? They are written in Rev 9:1-20, 15:1, 6, 8, and 16:21. We have quoted these Scriptures below:
According to the understanding we have received from the Lord as written in His Word, these plagues as written in the Book of Revelation will be poured out on the earth during the days of tribulation which is to shortly come upon the whole earth. By this, we understand that all men that will not take heed to this word but instead add to the words of the Book of Revelation will go through the days of tribulation that is to come upon the earth. They will not partake of the rapture because they have refused to repent and be broken before the Lord. For if we know that these plagues shall take place in the tribulation, then for these men to partake of it they must also be on the earth during the tribulation in order that these plagues may be added unto them as the Lord hath said. Again, this will happen to all those that will refuse to repent but transgress this word. Therefore we beseech all men that fall into this category to repent today. The Lord wants all that belong to Him to repent of all sins and be perfect in obedience to His Word in Him in all things even as He is also perfect. This He does by continually washing them with the power of His Word. This is the last work the Lord is doing in many of His sheep before He finally gathers them unto Himself at the sound of the trumpet. This word is true. The Lord also declared very plainly that He will blot out of the Book of life and out of the New Jerusalem in heaven the part of any man that will take away from the Book of Revelation. This is even a sorer warning to all professed Christians and teachers that claim to teach God’s truth but yet take away from the Book of Revelation. This includes those that teach that once saved is always saved, those that deny the rapture, and those that deny that there is a wrath to come. By doing these things, they take away from the truths in the Book of Revelation and God will not hold them guiltless in these deeds. They will not be saved nor will they enter God’s dwelling place in heaven if they do not repent, all of them that have taught in this manner. Again, t his is the word of the Lord and it shall be done. None of it shall fall to the ground. If any man hath an ear, let him hear. Today, the LORD is giving all of you that do these things another chance to repent and walk uprightly before him that you may not enter into judgment in the days to come and that none of you may be lost in the end. Only him that endure to the end shall be saved. Our Lord Jesus Christ promised not to blot out of the book of life the name of any man that will overcome by remaining in Him to the end. If some refuse to remain in the Lord to the end, will their names not be blotted out? Let no man deceive you with vain words. If the Lord said He would blot names out His book, He will do exactly what He has said. If we say this is impossible, then we accuse God of using vain words on His people and we call Him a liar. Shall God lie? God forbid! For as it is written: God is not a man that he should lie; neither the son of man that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? This is another confirmation to all men that will try to dispute God’s Word by accepting some and rejecting some that God will fully bring to pass anything He has said in His written word. Therefore take heed, you all that teach the Book of Revelation not according to truth lest you partake of the Lord’s judgments in the days to come. If you do not understand the Book, then do not teach it. If any man desire to teach the Book let Him seek the Lord for wisdom and understanding that he may speak only according to the truth as written in the Holy Scriptures. We also know that there are some among you that have a form of godliness but yet deny the power thereof. Their religion is only in their creed and formal confession of faith, not in their hearts. They are destitute of godliness, having no faith in God’s Word and denying that one can be godly and perfect in obedience to God’s Word in this life, thereby speaking contrary to the thing the Lord reiterated in His Word in Matt 5:48, Eph 4:13, and Col 1:28 that we should be perfect in Him as our Father in heaven is perfect. Is it not written that Christ is the head of the Church ( Col 1:18, Eph 5:23)? That the church is the body of Christ (1 Corinth 12:27)? Therefore if the head be perfect, shall the body not also be perfect? Shall an imperfect body be joined together with a perfect head who is Christ? God forbid! We command you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ who sent us that you turn away from men that speak in this manner. Do not join together with them for they have leaven in their doctrines. Take heed how you hear. Beware of these teachers. Obey and be perfect in obedience to God. This is only possible by eating His Word always and keeping fellowship with the Holy Spirit in all things. Believe the Word of God today and turn away from your own desires. Teach only according to the Word of God and always separate your own words and thoughts from the word of the Lord. If you speak as man in a matter, make it plain that you speak in this manner, that people may be able to separate your own opinion from the word of the Lord. This is the way the Lord Himself has taught us to speak and teach His Word and He has commanded us to teach others in like manner that none of His sheep may be lost in the end but that all may come into His fold that He may gather them to Himself at the sound of the trumpet at His coming. These words are true therefore hear and do them. And take heed that no man deceive you. Grace be to you all. Amen. To all readers: please email or forward a copy of this epistle to your pastors.
