Grace be unto you all and peace from God our Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ. This letter is yet a continuation of the epistle on the millennial reign of Christ and His saints on the earth which we began writing to you all some weeks ago. Below are more truths on the millennium of peace that is to come when Christ our LORD shall reign on the whole earth:
- The judgment of the living nations at the Second Advent will determine who is worthy to enter into the millennium((Matt 25:31-46) – This judgment will be an individual judgment of all nations particularly involved with Israel. The purpose of this judgment is to determine who shall enter the kingdom (Dan 7:9-14, 22, Rev 11:15) on the basis of their treatment of Israel (Matt 25:40). God will curse or bless according to how men have dealt with Israel. He will forever respect and fulfill the Abrahamic covenant (Gen 12:1-3). Some will be sent to the lake of fire and eternal punishment (Matt 25:41, 46, 13:39-50, 24:51, Rev 14:9-11, 19:20, 20:10).
- All nations will be required to send representatives to Jerusalem once a year to acknowledge the Lord Jesus Christ(Zech 14:16-21, Isa 2:1-4; 35:8-9) – According to Zech 14:16-19, we have the explanation of what will happen to those who are left of all the nations who will fight against Jerusalem under the Antichrist. If they have not taken the mark of the beast (Rev 14:9-11), and if they have not persecuted Christ’s brethren i.e. the Jews (Matt 25:31-46), and if they are otherwise worthy of entrance into the millennium, they will be allowed to live as natural men on the earth to multiply and replenish the earth as God originally commanded (Gen 1:26-31). They will be permitted to establish themselves in the earth and live through the entire 1,000 year reign of Christ if they remain obedient, not committing any sin worthy of death (Isa 65:20-25). In those days, they will be required to go up (at least representatives) to Jerusalem in Israel to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles yearly (Zech 14:16). And if they do not go up as required, there will be no rain upon their land (Zech 14:17-19). If any rebel with Satan at the end of the 1,000 years, then fire will come down from God out of heaven and devour them (Rev 20:7-10).
- Israel will possess all the promised land (Gen 15:14-18; 17:6-19, Isa 60:21, Ezek 47:13-48:35) – This land will span all lands from the river of Egypt (possibly the Nile) unto the great river, the river Euphrates.
- All the former sacrifices, feasts, and rituals of the temple worship will be continued as an eternal memorial of what they were types of before Christ fulfilled them (Ezek 43:19-27; 44:5, 30; 45:17-25; 46:1-24; Zech 14:16-21; Isa 66:19-24) – Zech 14:16-21 plainly reveals that animal sacrifices will be continued in the millennium as a memorial to the work of Christ on the cross. This will happen in the Jewish temple in Jerusalem which Christ Himself will build in those days (Zech 6:12-13).
- Two classes of men will exist (Isa 66:23, Rev 20:4, 7) – There will be two classes of men in the millennium. There will be natural men i.e. subjects of the millennial kingdom, and resurrected men i.e. rulers of the kingdom. Natural men will be people who continue to live from the tribulation time into the millennium and then into the new earth period and their descendants. They will be the saints mentioned in Rev 20:7-10 and they will multiply forever. Resurrected men will be the ones who have been redeemed from all generations, from Adam to the millennium, and who will have part in the first resurrection. They will be kings and priests and rulers of natural men on the earth forever (Dan 8:18, 22, 27, 1 Corinth 6:2, Rev 1:5, 5:10, 12:5, 20:4-6, 22:4-5). These will not multiply as the natural men will do but be as the angels who do not need to marry to keep their race alive (Matt 22:30). They will live in the New Jerusalem forever (John 14:1-3, Heb 11:10-16, 12:22-23, 13:14, Rev 21:9-10). During the dispensation of the new heavens and the new earth when the New Jerusalem will be relocated to the earth, the natural men will live on the earth but outside the holy city i.e. New Jerusalem, even though they traffic in it and bring their gifts into the city to honor the King.
- Men will be permitted to look directly into eternal hell (Isa 66:24) – According to Isa 66:24, all flesh i.e. natural men on the earth will be permitted to look into eternal hell at certain openings, and see the punishment of rebels forever as a perpetual warning against sin and transgression. The purpose of the opening into hell will be to cause coming generations to abhor sin and its consequences. When natural men can actually see into eternal hell, it will be a great warning to them to walk in the ways of God. Not only men of the earth, but angels also, and all other beings will be able to look into this place and see how horrible the punishment of sin can be (Rev 14:9-11). Horrifying as the thought may be, the view may be God’s method of keeping eternal generations in line with His laws and commandments as they progress in the new earth into the eternity future.
Peace be to you all. Maranatha.
