It is very interesting to know that you have never seen your own face directly with your own eyes. Yes, that is true! Think about it for a minute! You have only believed what the mirror tells you all these years. For some reason, you just absolutely believe that the mirror cannot lie and so anytime you want to know what you look like, you dont look at your own face directly. Instead you find a mirror to look at and whatever you see in the mirror you absolutely believe. If the mirror shows that you are not as cute as you use to be, you get concerned and tend to stay longer in front of the mirror to find out why. For some people, this is big deal.
In same manner, the Word of God is a mirror that shows us how God sees us as Christians. Whatever He says we are is what we truly are and we must absolutely believe that! Nothing else but that! Just in same way you believe the mirror. This is written in James 1:22 to 27. It reveals what we must do and how we must live while on earth to inherit His promises. We must now make the Word of God our mirror henceforth. When you desire to know who you really are and what you look like, let the Bible be your first stop. Read it and find out what God says about you and act it out until it becomes reflex. Use your faith to believe it and bring it to manifestation by your confessions and deeds.
There is a hero in you. Everything God created solves a particular problem. The Sun, moon, stars solve specific problems. There is a problem on this earth that only you can solve. God created and equipped you to solve that specific problem. This is your purpose on the earth. Some people call it destiny. You dont decide it. Rather you discover it because it has been decided for you by God and His plan is the best! Every other plan is second best and sub-optimal. Your purpose in God is always beyond what you can achieve by yourself. And it will require obedience to the Word of God on the way. If you dont obey, you will not attain. You must find out what that purpose is so that you can channel all resources that come your way towards that purpose. You would also know if you are currently in the right place or not. That is one reason why some people prosper in some places than others. Because they are where God has divinely called them and assigned them.
So therefore, knowing all these things, who really are you? Or who do you say you are? Who do you believe? The mirror, or the Bible as the true mirror? What is your purpose and why are you here? Have you read the Bible to find out? Have you spent time with God in asking? If you dont know, it is time you find out. Heavenly Father, thank you for hiding these things from the wise and revealing it to babes. Reveal purposes to as many that desire to know and serve you. Show them why you have called them; lead them into the path wherein they have been equipped to serve and prosper. Amen and MARANATHA.
